Did I say that out loud?!
Between June 2020 and December 2021, Nicola Speer and Timo Stockhorst come to you every Friday live with a new episode of their podcast, true to the motto "Discussion and language are the basis for democratic coexistence".
For the two, the starting point of each episode was the starting point of any political education, i.e. the discussion and reflection of (political) topics that one does not need to have dealt with before. In weekly rotation, the two brought a current topic; without consultation and completely spontaneously. In this way, the mutual exchange opened up different perspectives on a wide range of topics - true to the motto of the podcast's title - and made it clear that the exchange with others and the expression of one's own opinion are fundamental to our democratic coexistence.
Because the podcast was spontaneous, did not follow a rigid agenda, and was not edited or otherwise altered after the fact, the name of the podcast was the program. At the end of each episode, the focus was on fun and spontaneity - despite all the seriousness and professionalism required.

Sunday is viewpoint day!
The EAO in the Corona lockdown: Even though there were some easing ups, restrictions were still part of everyday life. That is why the weekly podcast was expanded. Because: An associative conversation can usually only be the beginning, the entry into a new and complex topic. For this reason, Timo Stockhorst and Nicola Speer invited competent discussion partners at regular, irregular intervals. Guided by questions, the expert discussion should help to deepen specific and previously defined socio-politically relevant topics.
If democratic coexistence is to succeed, it needs other perspectives, expertise, opinions and ideas. With the format "Did I say that out loud? - Opinions with ...", six episodes on a specific topic will be published in the form of a "season" starting in 2021.
Even though our podcast series is currently on hiatus, we don't want to deprive you of the very successful episodes of the past few days.
