Bringing together young people from Bulgaria, Germany, France, Lithuania, and Spain, this Erasmus+ seminar combined international exchange with hands-on learning.
Participants developed a joint White Paper on how Europe can learn from its past to build a more democratic and peaceful future, while exploring topics such as intercultural communication, conflict resolution, and European cooperation.
Working in international teams, participants transformed their ideas into concrete policy proposals. These included a European Youth Debate Day, giving young people across Europe the opportunity to develop critical thinking and debating skills, and CrossTalk Europe, an initiative promoting dialogue between generations through local events and an online platform. Other proposals focused on strengthening civic education, bringing European institutions closer to citizens, and making history more engaging for young people. A simulation of the European Parliament, a visit to the historic Höckerlinie, and a range of cultural activities completed a week full of learning, new perspectives, and lasting international friendships.
