Join an intensive one-week seminar exploring the future of transatlantic relations, European integration, and international security policy. Through expert lectures, interactive workshops, and discussions with leading practitioners, you will explore current challenges such as European security, , cyber threats, misinformation, and populism while exchanging ideas with fellow students from the United States and across Europe.
One of the highlights of the program is a two-day study excursion to Brussels with an overnight stay, giving you the opportunity to experience the heart of European policymaking firsthand. You will also take part in study visits to Frankfurt, Brussels and Luxembourg including visits (subject to confirmation) to major European institutions such as the European Central Bank, the European External Action Service (EEAS), the European Commission, the European Parliament, and either the European Court of Auditors or the Court of Justice of the European Union. These excursions will provide you with unique first-hand insights into the institutions and decision-making processes that shape European and transatlantic cooperation.
Target group: Undergraduate and graduate students, preferably studying International Relations, History, Politics and Security Studies, Economics, or related disciplines.
Participation fee: €790.00 for students with the current residency in the EU (no scholarships are available).
The participation fee includes accommodation in a shared double room, all meals, seminar materials, and all study excursions. Please note that travel costs to the meeting point in Frankfurt am Main on 5 March 2027 and your return journey from Otzenhausen after the seminar on 13 March 2027 are not included.
