Since February 2022, tremendous changes in the East-West political relations have been observed. The war in Ukraine and possible conflict on a global scale attract the attention not only of policy makers. The consequences have already affected many people worldwide – emotionally, economically and humanly.

So what are the prospective scenarios for the further development of political relations not only between the EU and Russia but also other global players?
What are the foreseen short-term and long-term impacts of Putin's energy policy on the European market and the EU Green Policy?
And which role play NGOs and civil society in the war and how can (or cannot) media contribute to resolving the crisis?

These are the questions we are going to be tackling and discussing in the course Analysing Europe Today: East-West relations.
