The European Academy of Otzenhausen played a major role in creating the Cerda & Celtoi Celtic sculpture trail and the Arboretum Europaeum – Sustainability Park. In addition, it has systematically developed its pinacoteca since establishing it in 1961. On request, the Academy offers guided tours and walks that provide participants with first-hand information about art and nature. The tours and walks are available in English, German and French and can be arranged to include a culinary side event.

Guided tour of the Academy's pinacoteca

The Academy also offers guided tours of its pinacoteca to guests who wish to learn more about works in the comprehensive collection of paintings and sculptures and the artists who created them. These tours are organized on request and last from one to three hours depending on the participants’ time and interest.

Guided tour of the Arboretum Europaeum – Sustainability Park

There is so much to learn about the trees of the Arboretum Europaeum. However, the Arboretum offers a great deal more. We will be happy to arrange for an expert to share informative and entertaining information about the Arboretum's shrubs and grasses, fungi and insects – in short: the regional flora and fauna. Once you have been acquainted with “hands-on nature” you will experience nature more attentively and through different eyes. Duration: as desired, tour available in German or English only.
