The Arboretum Europaeum – Sustainability Park is a park on the northern edge of the Academy grounds, which provides a cross-section of the most common Central European trees, and also hosts "guests" from other regions of the continent and the world.

Its name refers to the origins of the Arboretum as a European tree and bush garden and to the educational initiative entitled "Encouraging sustainability". The Arboretum was founded in 1994. In 2008, it was transformed; great importance was attached to leaving it as natural as possible, and works of art, benches and a gazebo based on Celtic models were added. The two larger-than-life Celtic warriors, who stand guard at its entrance, are another highlight.

Guided tours available in German and English -  duration in line with our guests’ wishes.
