Volleyball Terrasse Gruppe im Freien

Seating arrangements, deck chairs, benches and sunshades invite our guests to relax under the trees, on our roof terrace and – in summer – in the Arboretum Europaeum.
Those who want to play sports or games with others will find a basket ball hoop, a volleyball area, a table tennis table, badminton and a boule area on the Academy grounds.

skulptur1 Geheimnis der Bäume Keltisches Schild

The first sculpture of the Celtic Sculpture Trail, which begins at the Academy, entices many or our guests to walk the trail to the last sculpture within the Celtic fortification "Hunnenring". In good weather, our guests enjoy having a hearty barbecue in one of our two roofed barbecue areas.

If you want to spend the evening in the company of other guests, our premises offer a TV set, a skittle alley, a billiard room and various parlour games at the Eurobistro, and darts, table tennis, table football, stereo equipment and a TV set in the recreation room for young people (Luxembourg).

The many works of our art collection, sculptures and several permanent exhibitions should invite everyone to take a tour of the premises, not only art aficionados.

The summer toboggan run and the artificial lake of the climatic health resort Nonnweiler are just a stone's throw away. Saarbrücken, capital of the Saarland; Völklingen and its World Cultural Heritage Site at the Völklingen Ironworks; Trier, Germany's most ancient city and Luxembourg, capital of the Grand Duchy, are within easy reach by car. These and further attractive tourist destinations await those who want to explore the surroundings after a tiring seminar day.
