EAO

The European Academy of Otzenhausen has nicely designed, spacious grounds and is located in a very calm setting at the edge of the woods at the heart of the Saar-Hunsrück nature park. Guests can also use its premises as a conference hotel in order to run their own seminars, conferences, presentations and meetings.

From an architectural point of view, the European Academy is an ensemble comprising four buildings, which were constructed successively in the years 1954 (Building B), 1963 (Building C), 1975 (Building A) and 1975 (Europaeum). It is a visible sign that the office holders of the European Academy, above all its founding director Arno Krause, succeeded in making the Saarland an attractive location for our guests and partners from all over Europe and, today, the world.

There are 95 beds available in 66 modern and friendly guest rooms. The state-of-the-art seminar equipment and flexible room arrangement of the 15 conference rooms (four of which with equipment for simultaneous interpretation for up to five languages) satisfy our guests' needs. Spacious foyers, a special library, three restaurants, a bistro, a recreation room for young people and many (free) car parks complete our offer.
